The Dispatchers at Central 911 Dispatch are your first point of contact, whether on the phone or in person. The department is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 

Department of Emergency Management serves the people of Boone County as the primary contact for resources to plan for, recover from and mitigate natural or man-made disasters, such as flooding, ice and snow events, and tornados as well as planned events.

The Boone County Coroner is responsible for the deceased individuals inside the County. If the death seems suspicious, they begin an investigation with the Boone County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division into the cause of death.
